Our client, an international investment bank in Frankfurt, is looking for suitable candidates for a role in their Liquidity Management division. This is a newly created Associate or Vice President level position, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. It is a great opportunity if you would like to work closely with the business functions, having manifold responsibilities from monitoring controls to taking part in committees to helping the Risk function to develop stress tests.
The role will include:
• Support the Head of Liquidity Management in leading and developing the treasury function in Germany and the EMEA region
• Maintain and monitor liquidity to meet regulatory and internal requirements and limits
• Support the Head of Liquidity Management in liquidity decisions and coordinate with various internal stakeholders including the Front Office, Risk Department and Management Board
• Work with the Group Treasury team to ensure that risk management and processes are in line with Group policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and compile papers for the monthly ALCO ('Asset and Liability Committee'), attend ALCO meeting and present liquidity topics as well as in other committees of the bank and European legal entities
• Monitoring the bank’s liquidity portfolios, including the composition of the liquidity buffer
• Supporting the Head of Liquidity Management in the development of the liquidity risk management policy and in the execution and implementation of internal policies and guidelines
• Support the French legal entity, including liquidity planning, stress testing and regulatory metrics monitoring
The position requires:
• Relevant experience in Liquidity Management or other Treasury- or Liquidity-oriented functions
• Ability to apply analytical processes and tools to draw conclusions
• Ability to work within an international banking group with global cross-border teams
• Fluent English language skills
